Inadequate and poor description - 04/25/2013

On opening the box, I was surprised to learn that this sensor worked EITHER during the day for a chime, or during the night to turn on lights. BUT NOT BOTH. I need a motion sensor on my driveway to watch for cars DAY and NIGHT. Additionally, you did not need to separately purchase the RPWL3045 converter. The instruction sheet was poorly written, at best. The sensor does work, during the day. What am I supposed to do at night ???

does not seem to want to stay connected, i have to reconnect at least once a week. The owners manual was very poorly written. Does not explain about night and day functions. Door bell loses connection too. Dont think i will buy another Honeywell product !

We cannot monitor our driveway easily. This motion detector, along with the Honeywell RCWL300A1006 receiver, seem perfect. The motion detector seems to have just the right sensitivity and the receiver has a pleasant distinctive sound unlike similar devices that are designed to be alarms. Extremely easy to install.
