originally looking for the same model that I had previously in order to keep my piano in good condition, but could only find this new model that I was initially skeptical about given the mist feature. however, its been working very well, the mist isn't too much and diffuses nicely, and it's much quieter than the previous model.

Checked quite a few of the reviews on this Honeywell HUL570W humidifier. We're pleased with how it performs in a rather large master bedroom. Better yet, it's not leaving that white dust all over the place! Very quiet and appears to be super easy to maintain.

Love this humidifier. Ours has been running 24 hours a day for more than 5 weeks, full in day and on low at night. Due to covid 19 we have kept it running constantly. There has not been any problems and it has kept us breathing easier. It is set up in our main open living space.

This ultrasonic unit is MUCH easier to use and delivers more moisture than the older capillary filter method. The tank is large and easy to refill.

They're also capable of preventing the buildup of slime in the water and humidifier surfaces. Protec Antimicrobial Cleaning Cartridges work in all humidifiers and are safe/non-toxic. Demineralization Cartridge
Honeywell Demineralization Cartridges are designed to neutralize minerals in the water of the HUL570W. Honeywell Demineralization Cartridges can be instrumental in reducing the amount of white dust and the capturing of minerals. It is recommended that owners replace cartridges every 20-30 fillings.
