Works Great As Long As It's Turned Often

This filter works great as long as you turn it every tank fill. If you fail to do so it will dry out quickly. I also found that running it under cool water in the cartridge holder, to make sure it's good and wet before placing it back in the humidifier each time, helps extend the filter life and aids in the proper functioning of the unit.

Honeywell filter is easy to use

I've used humidifiers for decades. What makes the these filters special, is the antimicrobial layer which keeps the moist air smelling fresh. To make the filter last much longer, try this. Every day when you clean and fill the tank, remove the filter case and put it in your sink. Open the case, and gently lift out the filter and soak for 15 minutes. Reverse the filter so that the end that was on the top, is now on the bottom. This humidifier is easy for a senior to maintain. Love it!

Lifetime of Filter is Short

Great product, I just wish the filters would last longer. I get about a month out of them in a dry climate. But the unit does a good job throwing up a notification indicating the filter needs to be replaced. You can also tell if the unit never turns off and the humidity never reaches setpoint.

These were out of stock since we bought the unit. We had to buy some other brand to get us through, but bought 6 of these as soon as they came available. We have not tried them yet, but they appear to fit and we purchased them because others had complained about non-Honey filters not fitting and not wicking water. We wanted true Honeywell filters.

The Honeywell brand name filters work the best

Had trouble finding the Honeywell filters during COVID. During the course of a year, I purchased two different types of third-party filters. Neither were able to bring the humidity to the 50% setting. We were wondering if our humidifier was broken. When I visited the HoneywellStore they were also out-of-stock. I selected the option to be emailed when they became available. About six weeks later, I received the email and proceeded to order the Honeywell filters. Now our humidifier works great and it has no problem brining and maintaining the rooms humidity at 50%.

OEM Quality

The blue filtering element is what sets this product above the cheaper knock-offs. And is what you should expect from the OEM brand as far as durability and fit. However, water quality will greatly affect filter life of any manufacturer of filter. I must use distilled water due to the high level of minerals in my area, to keep my filters from clogging up after a few weeks.

Replacement filter T for HEV615

I purchased two of these humidfiers for our home. We have approximaely 2000 sq ft. One is in the front of the home and the other is in the back of the home. They are on 24/7. The difference that these have made to the living quality in the home is dramatic lack of dust, no more itchy dry skin, no more dried sinus, lower utility bill due to appropriate humidity ratio for heat and ac. I only use this type filter in both units. Because of the great use we get I will only use this filter as long as we are using the honeywell humidifiers. Thank you for making such a great product.

Very helpful, but needs frequent replacement

I really like these filters, especially since the climate where I live is very dry and so I need to keep my 750 sq ft apartment at a good humidity level without accumulating white dust that ultrasonic humidifiers would release. The pre-filter is also helpful for keeping out dust and pet dander. My only complaint is that I need to replace the filter about every 1.5 weeks, as opposed to every 30 days, since the water here is very hard and thus contains a high mineral deposit concentration.

I use the Honeywell HEV615 Humidifier for my skin health in dry Colorado. The new Protec Treated Antimicrobial filters are integral to keeping my home at proper levels of humidity. The filter is easy to install or change. Rotating the filter regularly, the filter lasts a long time, and I have had no problems with accumulated mold.

These are much better than the originals.

I have been looking for replacement wicking filters for my 2 humidifiers for a long time. These were perfect. I especially like the added blue later they put in these. It keeps any dirt and grime out of the paper mesh part. Don't forget to flip these periodically.

Replacement filter HEV620

This filter works well. I also use a liquid additive to the water to reduce mineral buildup. The combination of both does a good job of trapping any mineral deposits from the water, reducing buildup in the humidifier itself and reduces white dust on furniture. This filter lasts longer than previous models.

A difficult product to find

So much better!

I'd used a generic filter last year and the beginning of this winter. When I as able to replace it with a Honeywell filter the difference was amazing. It took two days to use half a reservoir of water with the generic but less than 24 hours to drain it with the Honeywell. That's a good thing as the set humidity level was never reached with the generic but with the Honeywell filter it was reached and the humidifier actually shut off for awhile.

The filters arrived quickly, in spite of the pandemic shipping delays. We use the humidifier constantly during the wind season in So.California. The replacement filter has a blue backing that looks almost like a scrubby. It seems to be working to keep the dust from the winds out of the unit.It also gives the filter more rigidity when turning it over. Air smells clean and filter seems to be doing a good job.

Quality Filter

These filters really do a great job of keeping my Honeywell HEV620 humidifier clean. I've used humidifiers without filters in the past and with my mountain spring water, they were a nightmare to keep clean with all the algae and sulfur residue build up. I experience non of that now. The filters that we ordered have not been used yet and will not until next winter. However, we have used these same filters before and they have worked out great. I like to use original products. I have always tried to find Honeywell filters for my humidifier. I can't seem to find them in any store, even the one I purchased the humidifier. Ordering is easy though. I do believe that the most recent filters do not last as long as the original filters. I don't seem to get a month out of them. 3 Years Strong

We've been using our Honeywell humidifiers and filters for over 3 years and have been very satisfied. I bought the HEV620 humidifier because I have a few musical instruments that need to be humidified during the long, dry winters. I had used another brand, but it left a deposit everywhere in the room. This model does not. I bought the humidifier at a local department store, and there were plenty in stock along with boxes of filters. I bought a couple, thinking I'd be able to get them whenever I needed. Then--poof! First the humidifiers disappeared then the filters. I searched every other department store chain in the area, as well as home improvement stores. They were nowhere to be found. Even online searches were fruitless. I'm glad I found the Honeywell Direct store. Ordering was easy, and the package arrived as promised.

You don't get a choice about which thing to buy when you need a replacement part for a humidifier, so it's a good thing that this product is well made and easy to install. Works Great Needs to Be Changed Periodically

This filter ensures that the humidifier works efficiently and properly. I have found that it needs to be changed when it becomes too dirty and/or impregnated with contaminants from the air. 5 stars for the humidifier, but...

The wick filters are always hard to find and often out of stock. Also wish they were a bit more reasonably priced, as even with filtered water and added conditioners they last less than a month for me. I really love this humidifier though and can't do without it in winter, so I buy in bulk when I can get them.

So far, very good. I love the humidifier that we need these filters for. My only wish is that I didn't have to change the filter as often.

Filters do the job.

As long as you follow the instructions of rotating the filter ends and cleaning the humidifier regularly, the filters will do a good job.

Good condition

The filter lasts a little more than a month and you notice when its going bad because it can't keep the humidity. Very easy to replace, just follow the instructions.

I'm so glad to be able to purchase these filters online. It is very convenient. I purchased a Honeywell humidifier for my living room where I spend much my time. I have dry eye issues and hoped the extra moisture in the air would help. It has! Now I don't have to use the prescriptive eye drops! These filters work as advertised and can be hard to find in retail stores. Hit or miss locating them anywhere else online. Didn't trust ordering from any other retailer when I can feel comfortable knowing the product I need is available direct from the manufacturer.
