Honeywell 50250 Repalcement Filters Kit - HEPA Filter F and Pre-Filter A

Honeywell HEPA Filters help capture up to 99.97% of the following microscopic airborne allergens and particles: dust, pollen, pet dander, dust mite debris and smoke.¹ The Honeywell A Pre-Filter helps reduce household odors such as those from pets, cooking and smoke and traps larger airborne particles such as dust, lint, fibers and pet fur.¹ Using a pre-filter in your air purifier may also extend the life of your HEPA filter. This is a low maintenance filter replacement kit for large Honeywell Air Purifiers

This replacement filter kit is designed for the 50250 air purifier but is also compatible with the following Honeywell & Sears Kenmore air purifiers:

• Honeywell Air Purifiers: F113A Series, 13350, 13501, 13502, 13503, 13520, 13523, 13525, 13526, 13528, 13350, 350i, 50250, 52500, 63500.
• Sears Kenmore Air Purifiers: 13501, 13502, 13503, 13520, 13523, 13525, 13526, 13528, 13350, 50250, 50255-HD, 52500, 63500, 83162, 83259, 83287, 83332.

1. Turn the 50250 air purifier off and unplug the unit.
2. Open the air purifier by unscrewing the locking mechanism located at the bottom of the unit.
3. Once the locking mechanism is unscrewed, lift the main housing off the baseplate of the air purifier to expose the internal filter chamber.
4. Remove and discard the old filters.
5. Carefully stack the new HEPA filters on top of each other, so they are evenly aligned.
6. 3 HEPA filters will be needed for the 50250 Honeywell air purifier.
7. Once all three HEPA filters are stacked and aligned, place 1 foam gasket on the top of the stack.
8. The foam gasket is needed to form a tight seal in the air purifier.
9. Carefully wrap the black carbon Pre-Filter around the stack of HEPA filters using the fasteners provided.
10. Place the wrapped filters, with the gasket on top, into the internal chamber of the 50250 air purifier.
11. Make sure the foam gasket is facing up and at the top of the stack while in the unit.
12. Now you can place the main housing back onto the unit and screw it back into the base.
13. Plug the unit back in and turn it on to make sure it is operational.
14. After filter replacement is finished you may reset the filter check light.

These HEPA filters should remain efective for 1-5 years, depending on the environment in which the air purifer is operating. Replace your HEPA filters every 3-5 years for light situational usage, every 2-3 years for normal seasonal usage and every year for heavy daily use.
