This fan was an excellent replacement for a fan we had had for 30 years on our screened porch. It runs smoothly and quietly, with the fastest speed a little faster than our old fan. The blades look great and will not delaminate as our old blades did before I replaced them. The light is attractive and the LEDs that come with it give a warm white light. I'd much prefer a reliable fan like this to one with a remote.
