Upon on celling fans in my time, which has been a lot. The air itself on high, yes has a little noise, which is expected. Though, 98% of the time, you will run it on low/medium to which there is NO NOISE. Now the Light, is great in several ways, their A: Bright B: Adjustable and C: Easier to Change Bulbs if needed
This fan made it so when I used to turn on my a/c on high every day in a trailer when it was 102, and it kept it, cosy, not cool and not hot and that was a medium, we save about 10 dollars or more depending on the day.
