Good unit, but not for heat. The heat uses room temperature, and bumps it up slightly using the heat pump. If it is humid, the pan inside will fill up quick, you will need a continuous drain. A/C is nice and cool. Dehumidifier needs a continuous drain also using a standard yard hose fitting, but works well also.

Wer have had its four over 2 years. Here in Minnesota the winters get bitter cold and summers hot and humid. This does a great job keeping the kitchen comfortable all year around. It is loud and its a pain to empty the pan in the summer, its a good trade off....i would highly recommend this.

It's quiet. It appears to work well. We are waiting for the temperature to either go down to a cold level to test the heater or get above 85 to test the air. Time will tell.

The full-function remote control allows you to operate each feature from across the room. What's more, the auto-evaporation system allows for hours of continuous cooling with no water to drain or no bucket to empty (this operation depends on the humidity level at your location). This portable air conditioner comes with everything needed including a flexible exhaust hose and an easy-to-install window venting kit. The window vent can be removed when the unit is not in use.
