When I received my first order, I placed them around areas that I thought they were needed. Several months later I kept hearing this high pitch sound & didn't know what it was . Realized it was coming from under my kitchen sink. I took everything from under my sink & found my water alert. Then I remembered putting it there. One of my spray bottleds turned upside down & was leaking so it set my water slert off. IT WORKS !!! I ordered a 2nd. set to keep on hand incase I need them.
Our plumber said to buy Honeywell Water Leak Alarms for our sump pumps and pipes under sinks for peace of mind. He said Honeywell makes quality products.
We have had two under sink floods so we feel so much better with this extra security and hopefully if it ever happens again we can stop it before any damage.
