i upgraded my air purifiers and invested in honeywell products hoping they would be ok and they are even BETTER...i purchased one for living room and one for bedroom and i can feel the difference with these !! Review of HPA300 Air Purifiers

I purchased two Honeywell HRF-ARVP300 HEPA Air Purifiers during the Summer of 2020 as a way to decrease my chances of getting COVID. After much discussion, my small family and I decided to meet for Thanksgiving that year even though the vaccines were not yet available. We took other precautions, too. But no one got sick. I like to think the air purifiers had something to do with that. Since then, I've had the purifiers running 24/7. In addition to offering a level of protection from viruses, the purifiers help with my severe environmental allergies, too.

Smoke season must-have

We live in Tahoe National Forest. Every year, even if we don't get evacuated from a fire, we are usually next to one or two or five. The air quality during the months of August September and October are abysmal. This air purifier keeps us from constantly breathing toxic fumes. Our house is 700 ft., and this air purifier does the job for the whole house. We are very satisfied.

I had a good experience with my order, the time and quality was good. I would have liked to be able to buy a smaller set. Because I have to spend $100 for a set of 4 , when I really didn't need that many or wanted to spend that much. Also I ordered the separate filters already cut but I was sent one whole big piece of filter that I had to cut. I decided to cut instead of sending back I was ready to use my air purifier.

Exactly what I was looking for

I found it hard to make sure I was getting the real thing - Honeywell HEPA filters. I looked on Amazon and other sites, and the cheap ones seemed to be knockoffs. The prices were better, but reviews said the filters were not as good and did not last as long. Ordering these filters from Honeywell ensured that I was getting the real thing. The prefilter fits the big Air Purifier without the need to cut. I have a medium and a couple of smaller air purifiers as well, so I'll have to cut those prefilters to fit them, but that will be in the future.

First year of use indicated vigorous cleaning of air, as expected, with pre-filter changed quarterly,showing evidence of substantial cleaning prior to air entry into HEPA filters. HEPA filters showed good evidence of removal of additional contaminants after full year of continuous use. Backup shipment contained all required pieces for use this year.

Ordering the right filters from Honeywell is to do things right the first time. It is too confusing and not worth the hassle of going through any one else. I received the replacement filters in quite a short time considering I live in Hawaii. The quality seemed as good as the filters that came with the air purifier and the directions were clear. Well Worth It!

I'm an older person, more used to shopping in a store. When I couldn't find these filters in stores, I had to order online. There, I was to be able to order one package that included all four filters needed, and from Honeywell, the manufacturer of my machine, and the cost, even with shipping, was less than what it would have been in a store. And, most importantly, I didn't have to spend time and gas hoping to find all four filters in a store somewhere! I realize this is nothing new to people that buy online all the time, but to me it was a wake-up-call. Also, Honeywell made the transaction easy and delivery came before the anticipated date! I will be doing this again.

We used the filters that came with our Honeywell air purifier which we purchased from Home Depot. It works great and came in very handy this year during the wildfires. Filters went caput a few months after the heavy usage we had during the fires. The warning light never came on to indicate that the files needed changing, just suddenly stopped working. I didn't realize how much good use we had gotten out of them till I compared them to the new ones, which were sparkling white compared to the dirty, dark grey of the old. Definitely got us through when ash was raining from the sky for days and numerous other occasions on top of that, with cleaner air inside. The filters and the purifier have also helped me with my asthma and are great at eliminating odors. I am looking forward to more great usage from the replacements.

Excellent filters

These filters are well made and seem to clear the air of every odor and piece of dust. They are the same type as other HEPA filters I have purchased. The combination works so well that it even removed the smell of a wool blanket from the air.

Great value!

I haven't used it yet. I ordered ahead of time as I know delivery might get delayed because of the pandemic. So, I can review the packaging instead. Well, it came with the Honeywell box with no additional protection. It arrived deformed. Luckily, the product inside wasn't damaged. Oh, and, the odor filter is not pre-cut. I thought that is the description on the website that it is already precut to fit HPA300 series air purifier.

I purchased two Honeywell HPA-300 air purifiers for my 1100 sq. ft. home, mainly because of COVID-19 and my familys plan to celebrate the winter holidays at my house. Whether these air purifiers help reduce the chance of contracting COVID-19 remains to be seem. But my allergies to environmental pollens seem to have improved and there is less dust in the house.

Happy with clean air

The Hepa filters help our daughter feel safer in a classroom full of middle schoolers during Covid. We also ordered two Large Hepa filters for our home and noticed a difference almost immediately in the fresher smell upon entering the house after being away. We are older and need the extra protection. The filters give us more confidence.

Great Replacement Filter

The replacement filters work very well. The size of pre-filter and the primary filter are perfect fit to my existing air purifier. The filters came in a zip lock plastic bag. Wow!

Wow! This is embarrassing- I literally thought I had ordered the wrong filters- they were so white- my filters, which we had changed in November 2018, were dark and nasty. So glad I found the website and ordered these. Only weird thing is pre-filters I ordered were too big- I just cut off about 5 inches width wise and they fit. Hoping our breathing will be much better now!

Terrific combo

This year was the first year I ordered this combo. I am so pleased with the pre-filters being cut to fit. There are enough to change every 3 months as recommended and I dont have to piece together small sections. Just remove the cover, and replace the filter. Thank you so much for this combo!

Great Replacement Filter

The combo pack for HPA300 air purifiers is a real good deal it has 4 pre-filters so it will give me one whole year of clean air. Great Quality Straight from Manufacturer

Big quality difference from 3M ones I've ordered in the past. I'm very sensitive to smells, and after letting everything air out from the plastic bags they were in, I smell NO discernable odor from the filters, whereas the 3M ones I can smell an odd smell. Everything came in bags with zip top so can keep pure until use. Great!
