The carbon pre-filter does a good job of eliminating odors and pick up dust and fuzz before it goes in to the HEPA filters. The HEPA filters fit good and a do a good job of filtering out the fine dust. The HEPA filters last a long time.

I have been a daily user of my HONEYWELL series HPA300 for at least six years and find it keeps our bedroom air clean and fresh. The filters that come in the HRF-ARVP300 COMBO PACK are easy to install and are changed as needed, (usually 12 months) with the pre-filter carbo changed every 3 months. I have been using my Honeywell Hepa filter for several years now, it's great for my allergies. The filters catch so much out of the air, you can really see it every time you switch out the pre-filter. The quality of the filters is always great and I highly recommend the purifier and filters for anyone with allergies.
