Great Product

We analysed our use of our previous programmable thermostat and realized it was too complex and too expensive for what we needed and how we used it. From early on it had to be reprogrammed for any one of several reasons. This unit had 2 wires, making installation a breeze.Setting it up took seconds. Turned on the power and the proportional controller did its thing starting with 4 bars and reducing the current draw as it approached set temperature. And the price was excellent. Buying direct was clearly the way to go.

Just what I needed

This thermostat is amazing. When it reaches temp, it would auto shut off BUT, when it start to get colder it spews hot air to bring it up to temp. It's hard to explain but, this one is great for force fan thermostat. Highly recommended.

Retrofit

When my baseboard heat was installed long ago, it came with mechanical thermostats, which is not as precise the electronic type. I expect new thermostats will prove more economical.

Work like a charm

I bought one of these and decided to order four more for other rooms in the house. They all installed easily and work like a charm. Keeps the room temperature consistent. Hopefully they will reduce my heating bill compared to the 30 year old rotary dial models I used to have.

Out with the old

Ordered two of these to replace the existing mechanical thermostats controlling baseboard heaters. I chose Non-programmable type since these rooms aren't living spaces an will be set at a lower constant temperatures. Believing the upgrade to digital will save electricity over time.

Had them installed. Seem to be 3 to 5 degrees off, but need more time to see what the problem is. They were very easy to install. I wish a return label came with the order, just Incase they did not work. I questioned where to return them.

Great digital option!

Grate design, simple interface, and easy to read numbers. We bought these to help keep better track of our baseboards in the winter and help to save on some energy costs. While still newly installed, it is still nice to be able to see the temperature of the room, and more easily set the desired temp. Excited to finish installing in our other locations for better control/readings.

Very easy to install taking about 10 minutes.What I like about it is the digital read out and the lines below the temperature 1 line being warm and 5 lines being hot as the room reaches its set point the lines go the other way, from hot to warm then off once the set point is reached. good investment to control your heating cost.

Replaced a RLV3120

Replaced a RLV3120 with this RLV3150 because of the backlit feature. It was in a poorly lit area, and I had to turn on lights or use a flashlight to view the display. Now with the RLV3150 backlit display, I can check or adjust the temperature without an external light source. I have four other RLV3120s, and will probably replace them all. Very happy customer here.

Thermostat for 220v Baseboard Heater

This digital thermostat is the best. It's silent. It's very accurate being + or - half a degree. Plus it cycles the heater, virtually eliminating temperature swings. It also automatically switches to a thermometer mode displaying room temperature when you're not adjusting the room temperature setting. I believe it may even save electricity by it cycling and not causing a constant draw.

I bought one of these about a month ago. I had an old mechanical thermostat in my bedroom. The temperature swings were crazy. Like more than five degrees. Since installing this the temp in the room stays EXACTLY at the temp I set. Not even one degree of swing. I love it. I'll be getting more of them.

Easy Installation!

Ordered this line voltage thermostat to install in a room where the temperature was very inconsistent due to an old original thermostat. After following the easy instructions to install it everything was back to working properly. The temperature displays on the thermostat and it is very simple to use. Great product!

Very Accurate

I used this to replace an electronic thermostat that did have have the relay click, which I don't miss. This one appears to be more precise in its control of the heater. The temperature swing is very minimal.

Baseboard Thermostat

I ordered this product after researching the website and found a few and decided to choose this product. Lowes and Home Depot doesn't have a good selection or lack of baseboard thermostats. The one I purchased from Lowes a while back, when I had it installed the baseboard sounded like brass banging, and clanging. Sooo annoying! I like this Honeywell mode RLV3150A, its a manual setting and it doesn't make all the clangy de clang noise either. I purchased 2 more to replace the old ones. Love the product.

Great thermostat

After 15 years with electric baseboard heat and multiple replacements of the old-fashioned dial Style thermostats the Honeywell has been the answer to my prayers! Ever since installing these all of my rooms now maintain the set temperature and the rooms feel consistent throughout the house. The way these thermostats modulate the Heat should also provide a lower electric bill. They do not just blast the heat like the old dial thermostats did, they modulate the Heat to keep the room consistent within a half a degree. This enables the room to feel the same all the time.

Easy install and accurate reading

I was able to install 6 of these units in very short order. There was no set up needed and once installed worked right away. The temp reading was accurate out of the box. Also the price on the Honeywell site was half that on Amazon.

Works!!!

Worth the money

Had older dial style thermostats that were impossible to accurately set. These work perfectly. The heat sink helps prevent large temperature swings, also setting the min and max temperature prevents anyone from the temp too high or low

Simple & Accurate

This is able to operate right out of the box. No literature to try to understand and to program. Power ottage no problem. Simple to use. No guess work. Ideal for older generations. Nothing better than a digital control for heating with 240 volt radiant, baseboard heat, or both.

Works great

Recently replaced all the flaky mechanical heater thermostats in our home. These work perfect, have perfect interface and maintain tight temperature control. With fan setting on, total on-off cycle length is 5 mins. With fan option off, cycle length is 15 seconds. No perceivable effect on temperature regulation, so we are using with fan off, though our heaters have no fans.

I should have bought these a long time ago. I bought six of these to replace all my thermostats in my house, and what a difference! The old dial type were very inaccurate and wouldn't keep a constant temp. These now keep a much better constant temp and are quiet also. I don't know if I am saving on electricity yet but I believe I will be. Also they were very easy to install and look much better too.

Simple

Easy to install instructions, whether for 2-wire or 4-wire systems. I needed no additional parts came with the screws and wire nuts required. Easy to operate-with only an Up or Down button, there's no complicated programming. The RLV3150A replaces the RLV3100. I had already installed 3, 3100s and was pleased with them. The 3150 installs and performs similarly.

I purchased 1 unit for 2 seniors that would argue over the setting of there 50 year inaccurate rotary thermostat. They are so pleased with the new unit that they asked me to replace the 7 remaining old units with new ones. Several years ago I replaced my 7 old units with the Honeywell 5 + 2 day programmable units and am well pleased.

Easy to install, works well so far

This thermostat was easy to install and is a big improvement over my old one, which either had my electric baseboard heat ON or OFF. This allows for more precise temperature control, and is easy and intuitive to operate. I wish I bought it a year ago, because I would have saved money on electricity.
