I had a Honeywell T10 installed last November with 1 sensor. I loved how it kept a more consistent temperature in those rooms. I decided to add two more sensors to really help keep my house consistent by room. These are very easy to install and work great. Very happy with these Honeywell products.

All together I have 7 sensors. I love the way they all work in unison to get the perfect temperature throughout the whole house. Very easy to setup!

The sensor is designed to detect large infrared heat sources (people), so it won't detect small animals on the ground or an automatic vacuum cleaner. We use the same technology that's in our Smart Home Security Motion Sensors.

My home has 3 bedrooms on one level and a basement; how many sensors should I use?

The rule of thumb is to use a smart sensor in each room where you spend a lot of time, and where the ideal temperature is important to you. We recommend one sensor in each bedroom, a sensor in the kitchen/living room, and a sensor in the basement.
