It's been installed for about a week but I have used it quite a bit. I wanted simple: No batteries to change, just slide the lever to the desired temp and leave it alone. It also has an on/off switch. My previous thermostat had that hidden under a nice cover. That's an extra step that I don't miss. I like this thermostat because it doesn't have extra features or programming. The just above freezing setting could be handy too.
I received my thermostat sooner than expected. It was easy to hook up and I really like the ability to lower it to 35 degrees whereas before I was heating the garage to 45.
