This unit is designed for my larger room. Had similar Honeywell unit with one water tray that has worked for years. Expect same performance from this unit.

I received my unit and the next day it was in use for my home. I like the idea of the two side containers to hold water. It is light enough to be removed and filled at the sink or a person can take a pitcher and fill the containers on the unit. As we get older, we may have times where we are not able to lift and carry too much weight of a item. The low speed is quiet and the noise level for medium speed and high speed is average to a humidifier. Very simple to operate and very simple for the care of the unit. My previous unit, a Honeywell, similar to this one was 21 years old and stopped working. I live in a rural area and not sure if power outages caused the unit to stop working. As far as I am concerned, units made with simple working parts and ease to care for, will last for years.

Love the top fill feature, however the water containers should have a handle and wheels should be included for the console!
had the previous model which quit working after 11 years. Tried something else as these were out of stock for a while- should have saved my $. Finally received the new HEV685W- what a relief to have a well working humidifier again. Some interesting new features on this one. Only negative is lifting the fan unit to flip the filter. It doesn't easily slide back in place and be seated properly. Minor annoyance considering it really humidifies a good sized room in a desert environment.
I've been using my new humidifier for a week now. It's great!..... very quiet I have it on low, efficient, and I love having the double water tank a little longer between refills!

We run this humidifier in our master bedroom 24/7 and it works great to keep the humidity at a comfortable level. I also like that the tanks can be filled with a pitcher instead of lugging each tank to the sink and back to fill.

Very please with this humidifier, quiet even on high fan, easy refill, and high output. Notice a difference in just two days using it on the second floor with three bedrooms and a bath.
