These humidifiers help my family sleep in northern NM, where the humidity is <15%. The essential oil tray is excellent for getting into essential oils. I recommend lavender and chamomile. Cleaning the humidifiers is important and should be done whenever the tank smells off. If you wait up with a sore throat, you are way behind schedule on cleaning the humidifier.
