These humidifiers help my family sleep in northern NM, where the humidity is <15%. The essential oil tray is excellent for getting into essential oils. I recommend lavender and chamomile. Cleaning the humidifiers is important and should be done whenever the tank smells off. If you wait up with a sore throat, you are way behind schedule on cleaning the humidifier.

Aquastat contains no harsh chemicals or harsh acids making the cleaning action just as gentle as water on your humidifier surfaces and components.
