Compact and works well!

This air purifier works very well in our master bedroom. We've only had it a week and it's already done an excellent job of removing visible dust in the air. Our bedroom is 160 square feet so it's bigger then what this unit is rated for, but this unit still works well with pet dander and dust. My wife isn't using tissues as much and hopefully this unit will continue to clean our room. I ordered the larger 3200 model for the living room. I also like the amount of air this unit moves, it kinda doubles as an air circulator which keeps the air in the room from being stagnant in colder weather or when we have the AC on. Overall excellent buy!

Nice Air Purifier

The unit has a dimmer, which is great, since it would otherwise emit too much light at night. I like the filter notification. It is on the loud side, so for it to be perfect, it would be quieter, but otherwise a nice unit.

These portable air purifiers use an easy to read VOC sensor that displays the surrounding air quality level. How big of a room can the Honeywell HPA080 clean?

How loud is the Honeywell HPA080?

How often do I need to change the filters on the Honeywell HPA080?

The Honeywell HPA080 comes with a pre-filter and a HEPA filter. The pre-filter should be replaced every 1-3 months, and the HEPA filter should be replaced every 6-12 months. InSight Air Purifiers can also use enhanced filters that should be replaced every 3 months. The actual replacement schedule will depend on the level of air pollution in the room.

What filters do I need for the HPA080?

The HPA080 uses Replacement True HEPA Filter G and Replacement Pre-filter A. Optional enhanced odor filters can be used for targeting specific odors.

My Air Purifier is starting to make noise and the air output is less. What's wrong?

The filters may be dirty. High amounts of contaminants can block the pores in the filter and stop the air from moving through it. Replace the Filters. The HEPA Filters should be replaced every year and the Pre-Filter and Enhanced Odor and VOC Filters should be replaced every 3 months. Please note these are guidelines only and filters should be checked periodically as individual home conditions may vary. To ensure the unit is performing properly, replace with Certified Genuine Honeywell Filters.

How long should I run my Air Purifier?

In general, the unit will be most effective when doors and windows are closed. It is recommended that you run your air purifier while you are at home to help clean the air. If desired or conditions warrant, you may run your air purifier 24 hours a day

Can I wash any of the filters in my Air Purifier?

No. Washing the filters in your air purifier will ruin them.

What are VOCs?

VOC Sensor and Air Quality Indicator

This Honeywell InSight™ Air Cleaner is equipped with a VOC Sensor that detects the level of VOCs in a room while providing an easy to read visual display to indicate air quality. The Air Quality Indicator is located on the InSight™ Display. The VOC Sensor is constantly monitoring the surrounding air. The Air Quality Indicator light will illuminate either green, yellow, or red depending on the level of VOCs detected in the room:

Green - Good Air Quality: There is a very low level of VOCs in the surrounding area.
Yellow - Moderate Air Quality: There is a moderate level of VOCs in the surrounding area.
Red - Poor Air Quality: There is an elevated level of VOCs in the surrounding area.

This personal air purifier works with the Honeywell A and A+ Pre-Filter. The Pre-Filter is the first level of filtration and helps capture large particles such as dust, lint, fibers and pet fur and helps to reduce VOCs & odors from cooking, smoke, bathrooms and pets.
